Short Bio on Leslie Williams
He is a seasoned finance and accountancy professional and currently serves as President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sierra Leone (ICASL) and President of the Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (ABWA).

Professionally, Leslie has extensive experience in financial management, financial control, governance, organisational change, investigations and international development. He has served as Finance Manager with the Irish Embassy/Irish Aid in Sierra Leone and Liberia since 2016, with responsibility for the financial management and control of resources allocated to the Embassy and Irish Aid programs in Freetown and Monrovia. He is an expert in Not-for-Profit financial management and currently serves as the Country Champion for Sierra Leone and Liberia for the adoption of The International Non-Profit Accounting Standard (INPAS). He also serves in different boards in the capacity of Board Treasurer and Board Member.
Leslie is passionate about ethical leadership, accountability, good governance, digital transformation, professional development and regional collaboration.
